Our Continuum – Where Visiting Nurses Provide
Top Quality Care
The McLean
visiting nurse association recognizes that healthcare needs for
people as they age are varied and changeable. At a point in time a healthy,
active person who has chronic pain in a knee may elect to have that knee
replaced and could benefit from a visiting nurse. McLean will provide
that person with post hospital care and rehabilitation through our visiting
nurse association program for a week or so after they are discharged
from the hospital, the outpatient rehabilitation they need after they
have been discharged from McLean, maybe meals on wheels for a few days
if they live alone and don't feel comfortable cooking for themselves,
and the ongoing exercise classes for follow up strength-building and reconditioning.
We hope that anyone in our community who has a healthcare need provided
by visiting nurses will call
us and let us help them through the McLean visiting nurse association
program. Contact us
